Obsidian, default and in HackerBlue

The same view twice. The switch changes only the theme.

Obsidian with its stock default theme: a dark grey window with the file explorer on the left and a Welcome note whose properties, callout, checklist and table are in Obsidian's own colours. Obsidian with HackerBlue: the same vault on deep navy, with steel-blue text, blue headings and a cyan callout signal.

Obsidian 1.13.7 running on Linux, the same vault in its stock default theme and in HackerBlue. Captured from the running app in a throwaway vault.

Obsidian belongs to its owner; Hacker Blue is not affiliated with or endorsed by it.

The theme

HackerBlue for Obsidian is a dark theme for the Obsidian editor: deep navy surfaces, steel-blue text, and one cyan signal for links, selection and focus. Every colour is exposed as an Obsidian CSS variable under .theme-dark, so a snippet or a plugin can override any part of it.

It is a dark theme: if your Obsidian base colour scheme is light, Obsidian's own light palette applies. The theme uses Obsidian's fonts and icons and makes no network requests.
