Yazi 26.9.1 running on Linux with the flavor on. The terminal's output was captured and rendered to this image; file icons are left out because they need a Nerd Font.

Your own flavors are never touched, and a flavor you made called hackerblue is never overwritten.
Updates come with your licence: hackerblue update yazi when a newer version is out. hackerblue uninstall yazi removes it and restores your previous theme selection, keeping your later settings edits. Every command, and the rest of the guide: the install guide.
Yazi, default and in HackerBlue
The same view twice. The switch changes only the theme.

Yazi 26.9.1 running on Linux, the same folder in its default look and in HackerBlue. Captured from the running app in a throwaway profile, drawn with the terminal's own colours in each look.
Yazi belongs to its owner; Hacker Blue is not affiliated with or endorsed by it.
The theme
HackerBlue for Yazi is a flavor in Yazi's own format. It colours the whole interface, the file list and the current folder, tabs, the mode and status bar, the hovered file, marks and counts, and the pop-ups for key hints, confirmations, input, pickers, tasks and help, plus the syntax colours of the code Yazi previews, all in deep navy, steel blue and one cyan signal.
What it does not change: Yazi's icons and symbols stay Yazi's own, and anything you set yourself in theme.toml still wins over the flavor. It is a dark flavor, so in a light terminal Yazi keeps your own light flavor. It uses no network and adds nothing to Yazi except one flavor folder.
It was made and tested with Yazi 26.9.1 on Linux, and it needs a Yazi that supports flavors.
